Growing Children + Teenagers

“Growing Pains” often occur during growth spurts when the bones are growing quickly and the muscles become like a taut elastic band over the joints.

Children and Teenagers are frequently seen on our Power Plate and Pilates equipment doing stretching exercises to help ease the problems associated with rapid growth. A home programme is always provided in conjunction with any work performed in the studio.

Providing stretches and strengthening exercises to correct alignment of the legs pelvic and spine are also very important in the management of "Growing Pains".
